How to Pull Amazon DSP Reports in the Amazon Ads Console: Step-by-Step Guide

Whether you're optimizing a live campaign or preparing a client wrap-up deck, accurate reporting is essential. Amazon DSP gives advertisers access to a range of reporting tools directly within the Amazon Ads Console. Follow these steps to pull campaign, audience, or performance reports.

Step 1: Log Into the Amazon Ads Console

Step 2: Navigate to the DSP Section

  • On the top navigation bar, select Campaigns
  • Then click on the DSP tab (if you don’t see this, your account may not have DSP access—check your permissions)

Step 3: Select the Reporting Tab

  • In the DSP console, locate and click Reports on the left-hand sidebar
  • You'll land on the Reporting Dashboard, where all scheduled and manual reports live

Step 4: Click “Create Report”

  • Hit the Create report button in the upper right-hand corner

You’ll be prompted to configure your report in the next steps.

Step 5: Choose Your Report Type

Here are the most commonly used report types:

  • Performance Report – for impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, vCPM, etc.
  • Order Detail Report – for product-level conversions, add-to-carts, sales
  • Audience Insights Report – to understand audience breakdown and match rates
  • Video Performance Report – for video ads including viewability and completion rates
  • Pixel-Based Conversions – if you're using Amazon tracking pixels
  • Geo/Device Reports – for understanding by DMA, device, or supply source

Choose the one that best fits your goal, then click Next.

Step 6: Set the Date Range

  • Use the calendar to select a custom date range, or use pre-sets like:
    • Last 7 Days
    • Month to Date
    • Previous Month
    • Campaign Flight Range

Make sure the time zone is correct (usually set to your account default).

Step 7: Apply Filters (Optional)

  • You can filter by:
    • Campaign
    • Line item
    • Audience segment
    • Inventory type (display, video, CTV, etc.)
    • Creative type

Filtering lets you narrow your report to the most meaningful data.

Step 8: Select Format and Columns

  • Choose CSV or Excel (.xlsx) as your file format
  • Use Customize Columns if you want to add or remove data points before download

You can also save this configuration as a template for future use.

Step 9: Run the Report

  • Click Run report
  • Your report will be generated and appear in the Reports Dashboard
  • You can monitor status as "Processing" or "Complete"

Once complete, click Download to get your file.

Step 10: Automate (Optional)

If you want this report to be emailed to you or your team regularly:

  • Toggle on Scheduled Report
  • Choose delivery frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Add recipient email addresses
  • Save the schedule

Pro Tips:

  • Always label reports clearly with campaign name, date range, and purpose
  • For larger reports, processing may take a few minutes—check back later if needed
  • Use Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) for custom query-based deep dives
  • If you use Dorado, reports can sync automatically into dashboards without manual pulls

With this process, you’ll have full control over your Amazon DSP reporting and be able to make smarter decisions across every campaign.
